The hug, the friendly and welcoming gesture, seen more clearly in the "open - armed" of the armrests, is meant as a universal invitation: "Come, sit with me a while and I will put you at ease". In fact, each and every part of the HUG armchair has been carefully designed to give great flexibility to the customer as well as being beautiful to look.

Claesson Koivisto Rune

The Swedish design partnership Claesson Koivisto Rune was founded in 1995 as an architectural office, but it is in the classic Scandinavian way multi-disciplinary, which means that both architecture and design is practised.

Completed architectural projects include: Sfera Building culture house in Kyoto, the Swedish Ambassador’s residence in Berlin, Ingegerd Råman house and studio, Kjell A Nordström residence, Sony Music HQ Stockholm, One Happy Cloud restaurant, Gucci Stockholm, Louis Vuitton Stockholm, Scandinavian Airlines Euroshop, Asplund shop. Recent completed projects include the Operakällaren gourmet restaurant and cocktail bar and private houses in different Swedish locations through Arkitekthus. Current projects include several private houses in the USA, in Japan, in Uruguay and in Sweden.
